Debit MasterCard
MasterCard introduces a new Debit card to the UK
You may have recently received a letter from us introducing Debit MasterCard, the new card that will start to be issued in the United Kingdom from 1 August2008.
The range of numbers associated with these new cards is 557347 – 557446 and you will need to ensure that your terminal is adapted to accept these new cards.
Action required if you own your own terminal:
Please contact your terminal manufacturer or software supplier for assistance in getting your terminal updated as soon as possible.
All of our suppliers have been advised of these changes.
If you rent your terminal from us:
You do not need to take any action as we will undertake this work for you.
Users of the Electronic Management Information Service (EMIS)
If you currently use the RFI/Chargeback or Invoice modules of our EMIS product then please review the revised technical specification to ensure that Debit MasterCard is included within your latest reports.
